Gunther has a new website...labatyourfeet.com

Hi Faithful Followers!

Sorry I have been a little behind this year regarding blogging.  I guess a new baby will do that to you.  :)  Little Everett is now 9 months old, and he is growing way too quickly.  However, I think it may be time to get back to work and continue to spread the positivity that Gunther left for me to share in the form of his book If I Can't Be At Your Feet

Gunther now has a website for his book If I Can't Be At Your Feet. The new site can be found at labatyourfeet.com.  Please enjoy!  I included some fun pictures for you to enjoy, including a seasonal favorite with Gunther wearing Christmas reindeer antlers.  Every dog should have a pair of these:)    I hope to include a podcast next week from my radio debut on WGVU, a West Michigan station.  I have a lot to learn about websites, radio interviews, and Santa's delivery schedule.  However, I learn a little each day and hope that everything I am experiencing from If I Can't Be At Your Feet leads me to be a better person and of course the best momma to our four-legged friends!

Have a safe and happy holiday season, fill your pets' stockings to overflowing, and be thankful for all of your blessings.

Hi!  Happy Spring!

REVIEWS:

A 5 star book for sure. I read about 20 books a year, and this is the best of 2011. A refreshing and insightful look at life from the wonderful family dog, whom we all too often take for granted. Real life in this age of reality. Most unique, honest and down to earth. Even if you have no dog or dogs in your family, you'll find it most refreshing. And you'll likely soon be puppy shopping.

Having been a pet lover for over 50 years, I have always wondered what they may be thinking. Now I know. Great authoritorian work. Waiting for the "prequel." Don G

Awesome read! If you have a dog already, this book will make you appreciate him/her even more and want to give him/her a big hug. If you don't have a dog, you will want to get one after reading this inspiring book. This pooch has a very insightful, positive, and refreshing perspective on life. We can all learn a lot from him!

A must read to help you remember what matters in life, as taught by a dog. Even if you don't have a dog, you will appreciate the funny and wise thoughts that run through Gunther's mind, and laugh at his funny antics. This is a great gift for any animal lover, and a perfect read for your next book!

I never knew that a dog as wise as Gunther could cause so much trouble! The author translates Gunther's thoughts so well that you can't help falling in love with him, despite all his shenanigans! Life lessons through the eyes of a dog are surprisingly valuable and insightful. It's a perfect feel-good book that reminds us to slow down, love with reckless abandon, and live life to the fullest!

Let's Go Hoosiers!

As an avid Hoosier fan, I was excited to see the Hoosiers beat Iowa tonight at Assembly Hall.  With Zeller's multiple dunks, Pritchard's 8 points in 68 seconds, Elston's 11 points, and the entire Hoosier team scoring 103 total points made it a very thrilling game to watch!

Of course, anytime I watch Hoosier basketball, I think of the Hoosier Pup Chapter in If I Can't Be At Your Feet.  Please enjoy the following segment written through our black Labrador Retriever's eyes from the Hoosier Pup Chapter.

"Even as a puppy, I had a few late nights exploring campus and Kirkwood Avenue. Kirkwood is loaded with shops, restaurants, and bars for Hoosiers to enjoy.  I clearly remember sneaking out for my first night on the town after my mom, brothers, and sisters were fast asleep.  I bounced out the front door to see what I could see.  I strolled down to Kirkwood Avenue to see for myself what it was like.  I did a little window shopping, but I didn't see any clothes with holes for a tail.
Next, I stopped at Nick's English Hut to catch a glimpse of the Hoosiers playing basketball on television through the front door.  However, I couldn't see any part of the game because of the long line of people waiting to get in for the basketball festivities. No worries.  Bloomington is full of fun stuff to do, so I ran over to Upstairs Pub to hang out and learn to play pool."

If I Can't Be At Your Feet is available online at https://bookstore.iuniverse.com/Cart/Default3Phase.aspx?BookSId=SKU-000487800 or through amazon.com as well as other major online retail sites.

Enjoy and let's go Hoosiers!!!
