New review for If I Can't Be At Your Feet

Readers are providing much appreciated feedback and reviews and here is the latest  . . .

If I Can’t Be At Your Feet
In his autobiography, Gunther Denali, the black lab, takes us along with him as he reminisces on some of the many (mis)adventures during his 15 years. His philosophy of living every minute to its fullest is evident as he recounts his life from puppyhood into advanced age. Gunther Denali has lessons for all of us. What a life! A word of caution: don’t let your dog read this book. Some of Gunther’s antics may not be things you want your dog trying. And you will need to explain to your dog why you don’t throw lavish birthday parties complete with wrapped birthday presents for it every year.

Crystal Frakes Brown, an independent author, was inspired to write this book by the love and loyalty of her black lab Gunther, who stuck by her side throughout the many sleepless nights of her pregnancy.

If I Can't Be At Your Feet Book Signings - Big Successes!

Old Boys' Brewhouse in Spring Lake and Must Love Dogs in Grand Haven graciously hosted book signing events for If I Can't Be At Your Feet this past weekend.  These were my first two signings ever, so I was unsure what to expect.  Thankfully, many friends along with some new fans attended to make the events both a lot of fun and successful.  The word about this inspirational book written through a dog's point of view is starting to spread, and I am so thankful for our friends' and new fans' support.

Cheers to our four-legged friends and to a happy, happy holiday season!

Remember the reason for the season!

As the holiday hustle and bustle builds, sometimes we forget to focus on what really matters during this very special time of year.  As our black Labrador Retriever Gunther Denali suggests frequently throughout If I Can't Be At Your Feet, make each moment count and give in any way you can whether it is through donating to your favorite charity, selling Christmas trees at your church, offering your skills and time to an elderly person, or giving your four-legged lover a huge belly rub.  Focus on what really matters and make sure those close to you know you love them.  Happy Holidays!
